A Move Differently True Story:
I contacted my friend, singer-songwriter Chris Ferron, to find out if he was still composing songs for his latest demo. He wrote back saying he was performing at a nightclub in my hometown (Kennett Square, Pa). I was extremely excited to possibly have an opportunity to see this talented performer work his passion, on stage. I had traveled over one hundred miles back to my old home-stead earlier that week, and I needed to share this up-coming experience with another dear friend, so I called, and she drove down to join me. And what an extraordinary, joy-filled musical event it was.
We were fortunate enough to meet with Chris Ferron before his show and I was shocked to find out he did not have any plans to video-tape this live show. When I asked him why not, he told me he was not very good at self-promotion. In this media-savvy age, with so much musical competition coming at us from every direction and easy access to a variety of music from all over the world, a performer must always be at the top of his or her “exposure game.”
Chris gave an electrifying show and as fate would have it, lots of his fans provided tons of photographs for him to choose from, if he should ever have the need.
